Media Initiatives for Social Change Organization (MISC )  is a non-governmental/non profit organization registered under Act XXI of 1860 Pakistan and aspires to serve as a vehicle for social change also dedicated to raise the public  issues through  media/social media campaigns.It is  to  sensitize  the  policy  makers  towards  the  solutions  of multifaceted  challenges  and  complexities  that we  face with  the  dawn of the 21st century which have both socio-economic and political impacts on our society.

MISC  encourages critical and creative ways of thinking and stimulate civic activism to promote education,better health, peace, pluralism, social justice, rule of law ,good  governance, women empowerment, green environment and free media, which could  contribute to build  empowered sustainable communities.

MISC  is  working  against  discriminatory  laws  in  Pakistan  and  exposing  grave  human  right  violations  like disappearances, extrajudicial killings, torture, honour killings, harassment, bonded labour, child marriages and human trafficking etc.
