Human Rights/Women Empowerment

HUMAN RIGHTS

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever the nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status is. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible.

Media Initiatives  for Social change Organisation strives to work for the implementation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other related Charters, covenants, protocols, resolutions, recommendations and internationally adopted norms by Pakistan. We aim to aid national and international groups, organisations and individuals engaged in the promotion of human rights and to participate in meetings and conferences on human rights, locally and internationally.

Media Initiatives is engaged to raise the voices of marginalised, incapacitated, deprived and weak segments of society for their rights through documentaries, campaigns, protests and TV talk shows and aims to actively take part in the promotion of human rights.

Women Empowerment

Media Initiatives serves to empower women of our society because we believe, empowering women means empowering the country. We aim to be the voice of those women who are marginalised, suppressed, raped, murdered, objectified and tortured just because they are women. Our objective is to stand up against any sort of injustice done to the women of Pakistan. We believe in equality for both the sexes, and promote peace and justice in the country.
